Position Title: Area Sales Manager - Maharashtra
Essential Area of Expertise: HoReCa Sales, Institutional Sales
Experience: 5+ years
Roles & Responsibilities
• Implement sales strategies to achieve the annual volume targets for the region within assigned accounts.
• Drive both customer acquisition and customer retention to ensure sustained business growth.
• Identify product gaps in the market and, in collaboration with the procurement team, develop supply programs for local/regional products.
• Undertake basic sales planning and forecasting activities.
• Assist in the successful launch of new products in the market.
• Maintain optimal stock levels at distributor points to ensure smooth supply.
• Monitor distributor performance, address operational issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure distributors submit timely reports and claims as per requirements.
• Keep distributors well-informed about new products, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
• Expand customer base by exploring new geographies and untapped market segments.
• Ensure timely collection and fulfilment of customer orders.
• Maintain compliance with all required reporting formats and timelines.
