Role & responsibilities:

  • To plan and procure non bulk material for CT/CB/CVT/GC Assembly line.
  • Develop e-purchase systems and other strategic purchases initiatives for Cost and Quality Optimization.
  • Procurement of components in line with cost trends in market.
  • Improve line efficiency by feeding material in JIT/KIT form.
  • Costing of components by considering most efficient processes.
  • Plan material to ensure uninterruptible supply to production.
  • Develop vendor for new subassemblies/kit Vendor quality maintenance, improvement and development as per Six Sigma norms Effective utilization of SAP and other enabled tools for supply chain management Vendor stock reconciliation.
  • Ensure ISO/IMS/ESG Compliance. Vendor audit schedule compliance.
  • Variance reduction as per exception reports and audit findings.
  • New Vendor development in line with division requirement.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Process knowledge of machining, fabrication, castings.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Good Communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Adequate SAP Knowledge and experience.
