Role & responsibilities :-

  • Drive the team in achieving the business targets set for the organization.
  • Ensure 100% compliance for manufacturing orders; reduce cost of rejections and cost of non quality.
  • Do effective inventory management and control to achieve desired levels of inventory for all items - raw

material (RM), work in progress (WIP) and finished goods (FG).

  • Analyze and track demand for products daily and ensure that more than 90% of customer service level

targets are met.

  • Accurately plan and forecast demand and mitigate risks due to demand spikes and lows.
  • Work with suppliers for planning and developing the manufacturing process.
  • Achieve more than 95% manufacturing order (MO) compliance against the sales operating plan (SOP).
  • Collaborate with the SCM team at HO to ensure that the forecasts are entered in ERP system for finished

goods. Also communicate regularly on the product availability status.

  • Work with R&D for implementing the new product processes.
  • Work with procurement team to ensure availability of raw material at all times.
  • Manage all SEZ and export orders for finished goods.
  • Drive team to comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 guidelines.
  • Actively participate in the SGIA, POKYOKE, KAIZEN and other initiatives to increase cost and process

efficiencies.

  • Save materials and funds through productivity proposals and KAIZEN.
  • Train, develop and coach team through challenging job assignments, training and regularly sharing the

best practices being followed in the industry.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience :-

  • BE (electrical/mechanical) with post-graduate diploma/degree in SCM
  • Relevant work experience of 8 12 years with around 2 5 years in a managerial role
  • Prior experience in production planning and control or supply chain management
  • Experience of working in a multinational environment is desirable
  • Good customer management skills internal and external
  • Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications like excel, word and power-point and ERP applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
