Job Designation : Chief Security & Fire Officer

Job Location : Nehru Place, New Delhi

Salary Range : Salary shall not be a constraint for the right candidate

Responsibilities/Role Description:

  • Building Security (~80% of time)
  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures.
  • Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
  • Recruiting, training and supervising security guards and managing their duty roasters.
  • Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
  • Control and monitor surveillance equipment, and perform building and equipment inspections.
  • Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies.
  • Fire Safety (~20% of time)
  • Performs regular fire safety inspections of the facility, ensuring that they meet all necessary codes and regulations. Take corrective actions wherever required.
  • Make sure that there are well-developed plans for easy evacuation of people in a building in the case of a fire outbreak.
  • Develop and enforce fire safety codes, regulations, guidelines and procedures. Communicate and train building occupants on them.
  • Investigate and report the causes of fire and take appropriate responsive actions.
  • Ensure preventive and reactive maintenance of all fire safety equipments installed in the building.
  • Conduct and organize periodic Fire Mock drills.

Required Profile/Skills:

  • You should have at least 10+ years of relevant experience and preferably from defense forces background.
  • You must be a graduate having at least 50% marks in class 12.
  • You must live within a 90 minute commuting distance from Nehru Place.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office

Our working hours are from 9:00am to 6:15pm, Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:15pm on Saturday. However, being in building security function, you should be ready for 24 x 7 x 365 day basis for inspections and emergency situations.
