Role Application Support Engineer - Level 3 Support

Exp 3 to 5 yrs

Location Mumbai (Thane)

Shift- Rotational - 9 am to 6 pm OR 12pm to 9 pm. (No transportation provided)

Working Days - 6 days (Monday to Saturday)

Primary Skill Set - We need L3 level support folks who have supported in Dotnet projects & have General Insurance project experience.

.NET Core, Microservices, MVC, AWS solid knowledge, docker, GitOps, SQL database etc

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 technical support for General Insurance applications, ensuring quick resolution of critical incidents and service requests.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on issues related to core insurance systems such as policy administration, claims, underwriting, and billing.
  • Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams, developers, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to address and resolve incidents.
  • Analyze application logs, server behavior, integration errors, and database issues to provide in-depth diagnostics and solutions.
  • Participate in incident and problem management processes, including RCA documentation and preventive action planning.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, technical SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Escalate incident tickets through the appropriate channels and hold those escalated to accountable for responding in accordance with SLAs.
  • Proactive ownership and management of allocated ticket
  • Investigate any identified issues with the implementation and then proactively drive resolution.
  • Participate in critical (P1) incident RCA by providing root cause analysis and identifying corrective actions as well as contributing to preventative measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in L3 technical support.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the general insurance domain – strong understanding of policy life cycle, claims processing, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Microservices Architecture: Understanding the principles of microservices, including their benefits and challenges, and being able to design and implement them effectively.
  • .NET Technologies: Proficient in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and related frameworks.
  • API Development: Experience with building RESTful APIs and other types of APIs.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with databases like SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing microservices.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
