Job Description:
Position: Erection & Installation Technician - Elevator Industry

Location: Ahmedabad 

Salary: Up to ₹6 LPA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Erection & Installation Technician to join our elevator industry team. The successful candidate will oversee the assembly, installation, and testing of elevators and escalators at project sites while adhering to safety standards, industry regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation Work:

  • Assemble and install elevators, escalators, and related equipment according to technical drawings, schematics, and guidelines.
  • Handle mechanical and electrical components required for elevator systems.

Site Coordination:

  • Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades for efficient execution of work.
  • Manage tools, materials, and equipment on-site effectively.

Safety Compliance:

  • Follow safety protocols, local regulations, and company standards during all installation phases.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigate potential hazards before starting work.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tests to verify proper functionality and alignment of installed systems.
  • Ensure quality checks are completed as per project specifications and customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of installation progress and submit daily/weekly site activity reports.
  • Document any technical issues, deviations, or additional requirements, and escalate as needed.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in the elevator/escalator domain.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, tools, and best practices for elevator installations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in elevator or escalator installation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with major elevator brands and installation protocols
