Job Title:

Business Development Manager (BDM) – Events

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the events and experiential marketing space.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and brands.

  • Pitch event concepts, customized proposals, and solutions aligned with client objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, operations) to ensure seamless execution.

  • Monitor market trends, competition, and industry developments to adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Represent the company at industry events, expos, and networking functions.

  • Prepare business development reports and forecasts for senior management.

  • Negotiate contracts and close profitable deals.

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.

  • 3–7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the events or media industry.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent network within corporates, agencies, and event buyers.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
