Team Profile:

A&M's Global Tax business has a team of highly skilled and seasoned tax professionals, experienced in providing practical tax advice to corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction life cycle. We are now rapidly expanding across Asia and looking for bright seasoned TAX professionals for our India office.

A&M professionals come with deep operating and financial-related experience. The team uses an integrated, focused, and tailored approach to rapidly identify and understand potential deal breakers, value drivers, and other areas of specific interest to our clients. Our professionals have significant experience on both buy side and sell side transactions across multiple different industries

How will you contribute:

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluating and analysing the regulations applicable to financial services players (being banks, non-banking finance companies, payment system operators, etc.) and assist with various applications, filings and compliances
• Regulatory advisory for various FS business including fintech, regulatory entities - analysing various RBI/ SEBI circulars and notifications and their implications on businesses
• Assist with due diligence for financial service players and assist with operationalisation (policies/ processes, etc)
• Formulate a Compliance Calendar/ Compliance Check Tool and assist with monitoring the same
• Interactions with the RBI / SEBI

Qualifying criteria:

• Company Secretary or LLB or Chartered Accountant with 3 to 8+ years of experience in Financial Services Regulatory space
• Worked in the regulatory function/ department in the FS space or worked in the regulatory function at a consulting/ legal firm.
