Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering

  • Design mechanical components and machinery systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.).
  • Develop 3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical calculations and simulations (FEA, stress analysis, fatigue, thermal, vibration).
  • Select appropriate materials, components, bearings, motors, transmissions, hydraulics/pneumatics.

Development & Testing

  • Prototype development and support for machining, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for mechanical issues.
  • Validate designs through testing and ensure compliance with relevant standards (ASME, ISO, DIN, CE, OSHA).
  • Optimize existing machinery for performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

Project Management

  • Plan and execute engineering projects within timeline and budget.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers for component sourcing and specification.
  • Prepare technical documentation—manuals, reports, test plans, and maintenance procedures.

Collaboration

  • Work with electrical and controls engineers to integrate mechanical systems with automation solutions.
  • Support production teams during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery.
  • Provide engineering support to sales and customers when required
