Role Overview

VINSAK is looking to hire an Inkjet Engineer for its Mumbai Office, India.

Experience Required:

2-5 years of relevant experience

Educational Qualification:

Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

Component Assembly:
Perform meticulous assembly of various mechanical, electrical, and electronic components for inkjet machines, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

System Trials & Demonstrations:
Conduct comprehensive trials of assembled inkjet systems at our manufacturing facility. This includes thorough testing, troubleshooting, and performing demonstrations for internal teams and potential clients.

On-site Installation:
Lead or assist in the installation of inkjet machinery at customer sites, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and integration with existing infrastructure.

Field Servicing & Support:
Provide timely and effective servicing, maintenance, and repair of inkjet systems at customer locations. This includes diagnosing issues, replacing faulty parts, and ensuring optimal performance.

Technical Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, trial results, installation procedures, and service reports.

Customer Training:
Provide basic operational and maintenance training to customer personnel during installation or service visits.

Qualifications

Experience: 2-5 years of proven experience in the assembly, testing, installation, and servicing of complex machinery, preferably within the printing, automation, or a related high-precision equipment industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with assembly tools and testing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
