Role Overview:

As a Service Engineer
at Worldpack, you will be responsible for
installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
of packaging and labeling machines at customer sites. You will ensure smooth operation of machines, timely service support, and contribute to building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and test Worldpack labeling and packaging machines at client sites.
  • Perform
    preventive and corrective maintenance
    , ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair
    mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
    on machines.
  • Provide
    technical support and operator training
    at customer facilities.
  • Respond promptly to
    breakdown calls
    and maintain service records.
  • Coordinate with the
    Head Office Service & Design teams
    for technical assistance.
  • Ensure adherence to
    Worldpack's service quality and safety standards
    .

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma / B.E. in
    Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
    .
  • 2–3 years of experience
    in installation, commissioning, and servicing of packaging or labeling machines.
  • Basic knowledge of
    PLC, HMI, sensors, and pneumatic systems
    .
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Language proficiency:
    Must be able to communicate fluently in
    Telugu, Hindi, and English
    .
  • Willingness to
    travel extensively
    across South India.
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and disciplined approach to service tasks.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Based in or willing to relocate to
    Hyderabad
    .
  • Experience in
    FMCG, Pharma, or Food packaging machinery
    preferred.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
