Role & responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial reporting.
  • Deeply understand the accounting impact of business transactions on financial statements.
  • Lead or support transitions of accounting processes from global locations to offshore centers.
  • Drive automation initiatives and process improvement projects; exposure to Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • Interpret complex data and reports to identify trends, variances, and correlations.
  • Ensure documentation, process mapping, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments in a manufacturing setup to ensure seamless financial integration.
  • Track and manage team performance using KPI metrics and ensure delivery against agreed service levels.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in R2R, preferably in GCCs or MNC manufacturing companies.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (SAP HANA preferred).
  • Excellent analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Experience in delivering automation projects and working with tools like Power BI or similar.
  • Exceptional skills in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team-building, employee engagement, and customer-centricity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Sound understanding of finance integration across functions within manufacturing.
  • Experienced in process documentation, redesign, and controls implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA/Cma
  • Exposure to shared services or offshoring environments.
