Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage end-to-end financial operations related to US Accounting, accounts receivable, account payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams and clients to ensure accurate financial tracking and timely invoicing aligned with contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and review employee timecards to validate hours for billing and cost tracking.
  • Prepare, review, and submit customer invoices in accordance with project milestones and SOW.
  • Track project financials including budgets, costs, revenues, and profitability.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments and reduce DSO.
  • Record and reconcile incoming payments against invoices to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues professionally with clients.
  • Maintain invoice records and escalate payment delays when necessary.
  • Align invoicing schedules with project milestones and contractual terms.
  • Support financial forecasting and budgeting through data analysis and trend evaluation.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Analyse P&L statements and balance sheets to identify variances and support audits.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Coordinate payroll processing for US employees and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Commerce Graduate with MBA in Finance or Mcom.
  • 6 years of experience in finance operations, billing, AR/AP, and GL.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of R2R processes and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
