To support the development activities for mold and toolings under various tire segment that the company operates in.

Schedule A & B

  • Tire 3D model Preparation & review in CATIA and Uni-Graphics
  • Co-ordinate with Mold and tooling manufacturers
  • Work on in-house developed PLM software
  • Design molds and tooling equipment that meet customer specifications and requirements.
  • Perform mold processing including cleaning, polishing, and assembly.
  • Understanding of drawings mold drawings of 2 piece molds, segmented molds

4: Key Result Areas (List the key deliverables that quantify successful performance in the role).

  • Achieve departmental targets as per priority
  • Co-ordinate with Mold and tooling manufacturers
  • Work on in-house developed PLM software
  • Training of new team members
  • Support interdepartmental activities
  • Decision making on molds, Tooling's and Machineries selection and Justification for selection

5: Decision Making Authority (For each decision type define if the action involves below mentioned categories:

BE in Mechanical Engineering

Skills & Knowledge
Competencies

  • Knowledge of tire manufacturing Mold & tooling's
  • Knowledge of engineering drawing, Review of drawings and approval for manufacturing
  • Qualification and approval of Vendors
  • Knowledge of material used for molds and tooling's
  • Capability to ensure clarity around goals and priority
  • Will solicit the involvement of others to build a sense of ownership. Must have the confidence to act quickly and decisively

  • Good communication and presentation skills

Work Experience
Functional

  • Very strong logical thinking capabilities and analytical skills
  • MS Office
  • 4-6 Years in relevant field
  • Work experience in MS office software
  • Should have strong knowledge of OHT tire manufacturing process –
