Centre Manager – Skilling

Position Summary:
The Centre Manager will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and performance of the Skill Development and Livelihood Training Centre. The role involves overseeing training delivery, mobilization, placement, and post-placement tracking, ensuring compliance with project and funding partner requirements, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Centre Operations Management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the training centre.
- Supervise all centre staff, including trainers, mobilizers, counsellors, and placement officers.
- Maintain infrastructure, training equipment, and learning resources
- Monitor training schedules, attendance, assessments, and certification processes.
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with project norms.
2. Training Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to training curriculum, timelines, and quality parameters.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and trainer evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with donor norms
3. Mobilization & Counselling
- Plan and execute community mobilization drives with the mobilization team.
- Build relationships with local stakeholders, panchayats, and community organizations.
- Conduct student counselling and orientation sessions to ensure informed enrolment.
- Achieve enrolment and training targets as per project plan.
4. Placement & Post-Placement Support
- Coordinate with placement team and industry partners to facilitate job linkages.
- Build relationships with local employers and HR managers for placement tie-ups.
- Ensure placement targets are met and maintain post-placement tracking records.
- Support candidates in retention and career progression.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain MIS and timely data entry on relevant portals
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports, case studies, and success stories.
- Support audit and monitoring visits, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
6. Team Management & Capacity Building
- Lead and motivate the centre team to achieve performance goals.
- Conduct team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
- Ensure alignment of centre staff with project objectives and values.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Graduate in Social Work / Management / Education / Development Studies / any relevant field. Postgraduate preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4–8 years of experience in skill development, livelihood, or training centre management.
- Proven track record in achieving enrolment, training, and placement targets.
- Experience in managing government or CSR-funded projects preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MIS reporting tools.
- Relationship management with community, employers, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Passion for youth empowerment and livelihood development.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Monthly enrolment and training targets achieved.
- Placement rate and job retention percentage.
- Centre compliance and audit score.
- Community engagement and visibility.
- Staff performance and satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
