Company Description

The Centre for Social and Behaviour Change (CSBC), hosted by Ashoka University, was established through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Centre aims to be globally recognized for its leadership and excellence in behavior change interventions, particularly for poor and marginalized populations. CSBC focuses on areas such as nutrition, sanitation, maternal health, family planning, and financial services. The Centre collaborates with the Government of India and non-government organizations to implement behavior change programs, conducts foundational research, and builds capabilities in behavioral science, design thinking, data science, and implementation science.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Programme Associate located in Lucknow. The Programme Associate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting behavior change programs, conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of intervention strategies. Daily tasks include working closely with team members, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to ensure effective program implementation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project coordination and program management
  • Skills in research, data analysis, and report writing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral science, design thinking, and implementation science
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using data analysis software and tools
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Public Health, or Development Studies
  • Experience working with government agencies or non-governmental organizations is a plus
