Planning & Coordination Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules (MS Project / Primavera / Excel).
  • Coordinate between design, procurement, execution, and site teams for smooth workflow.
  • Track project progress, identify delays/risks, and propose mitigation plans.
  • Maintain material delivery schedules and ensure timely procurement & dispatch.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management and clients.
  • Attend client/consultant meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
  • Ensure alignment between project deadlines, budgets, and resources.
  • Support site team in resolving planning-related issues.
  • Liaise with subcontractors/vendors for timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of faade, glazing, cladding, or construction projects.
  • Ability to prepare dashboards, MIS, and project tracking reports.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (added advantage).

Education & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
  • 2-6 years of experience in planning & coordination (faade/construction industry preferred).
  • Freshers with strong planning skills and relevant software knowledge may also be considered.
