Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Account Payable with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and practical experience using SAP for financial transactions and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial concepts such as TDS applicability, GST inputs, and vendor management, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) to perform financial analysis and reporting for management review.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and principles.
- Understand and apply accounting principles to various financial transactions, ensuring proper categorization and documentation.
- Assist in processing invoices, vendor management, and payment transactions using SAP.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain a basic understanding of GST inputs and ensure accurate reporting of eligible/ineligible inputs for tax purposes.
- Understand TDS applicability and deductions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations in transactions.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, supporting cross-functional departments with financial insights and recommendations.
- Continuously improve financial processes and reporting techniques, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
- Participate in audits and support the preparation of necessary documents for internal and external audits.
