Position: Garment Operation Supervisor

Location: Bachupally, Hyderabad

Job Overview

The Garment Operation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of garment production to ensure efficiency and quality. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in our Hyderabad office. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in production planning and vendor management, along with a focus on quality and staff development.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in production planning to streamline operations and resource allocation for optimal garment manufacturing processes (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven experience in vendor and supplier management to maintain strong relationships and ensure timely procurement of materials (Mandatory skill).
  • Ability to implement quality control measures in apparel production to meet company standards and client specifications.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems to track stock levels, monitor trends, and reduce waste efficiently.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and enhance production flow effectively.
  • Capability to coordinate supply chain activities to ensure smooth operations from raw material acquisition to final product delivery.
  • Experience in staff training and development to enhance team productivity and skill levels within the production unit.
  • Proficiency in ERP software to manage garment production data and support decision-making processes.

  • Supervise daily operations of garment production, ensuring processes align with company goals and standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure materials are sourced timely and within budget.
  • Implement quality control protocols to maintain product standards and reduce defects.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet production demands.
  • Train and develop production staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Utilize ERP systems effectively to track production metrics and drive operational improvements.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production activities with business objectives.
