Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profit margins.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activity.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Understand and assess customer technical requirements to recommend suitable vacuum pump systems (rotary vane, scroll, screw, diffusion, turbomolecular, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with application engineers to develop customized solutions.
  • Proposal & Quotation Management
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals, including technical specs, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Support contract negotiation and order closure in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Support
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate with service teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with engineering, production, service, and supply chain teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Participate in product development feedback loops based on market demand.
  • Reporting & CRM
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer interaction data in CRM tools.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Experience: 5–8 years of technical sales experience in vacuum pump systems or industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of vacuum technologies and applications across industries.
  • Proven ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites (local and state as required).
