Main Responsibilities:

- Plans and prepares production schedules/ plans for the manufacturing team to establish the production sequence and lead time of each operation according to customer orders
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine the production plan, processes and tools requirements.
- Tracks status and expedites materials on assigned production jobs
- Supervises the completion and progress of the production targets as per production plan and customer delivery dates
- Reviews and maintains the component material issue status of all completed assembly production orders
- Streamlines shop floor scheduling system to avoid idle for machinery.
- Follow-up with the Procurement team for procurement of the shortages in material according to the Customer Order
- If the material is not available in the store as per Customer Order requirement, then coordinate with SCM to raise a Purchase Order for shortages
- Convert PMO (Planned Manufacturing Order) into Manufacturing Order and release it in the system.
- Prepares production plans as per production schedules and monitor them at every stage of the manufacturing process
- Prepares ISO related audit documentation for planning function
- Prepares monthly/ weekly reports on the progress of production as per the work order for the value stream
- Prepares reports stock allotment, shortage list (materials), dispatch reports (with value, quantity dispatched)
- Assists with material productivity (lean) projects related to purchasing, subcontracting, and scheduling ( Knowledge with Lean manufacturing is additional advantage)
- Performs other job related duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical with 3 to 5 years of experience OR Diploma in Mechanical with 4 to 6 years related experience
