Job description

We are hiring an AM / DM – Indirect Taxation
for a leading multi-technology manufacturer specializing in Ferrous and Aluminium-based casting, forging, and machining processes. The organization delivers advanced mobility solutions across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, and farm machinery. With multiple state-of-the-art facilities, it combines engineering excellence with innovation to serve top-tier clients in the automotive and industrial sectors.

This position is based at the 
Dharuhera plant,
 involves overseeing and managing Indirect Taxation.

Join us as an AM / DM – Indirect Taxation to ensure end-to-end compliance with GST and other applicable indirect tax laws across all manufacturing plants and business units of the company, while managing audits, assessments, and litigation effectively. The role will focus on optimizing tax positions, mitigating risks, and implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage GST compliances across all plants and business locations, ensuring timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliations
  • Review input tax credit (ITC) availment and vendor reconciliations, ensuring adherence to GST laws
  • Oversee e-invoicing, e-way bills, and related operational compliance
  • Provide advisory support on GST implications for domestic procurement, imports, exports, stock transfers, job work, and inter-unit transactions
  • Ensure smooth implementation of GST updates, amendments, and circulars into business processes
  • Handle GST audits, investigations, show cause notices, and appeals at departmental, appellate, tribunal, and court levels
  • Prepare replies, submissions, and briefs for hearings in coordination with consultants and legal counsel
  • Represent the company before GST officers and authorities as required
  • Maintain proper documentation and track the status of all pending litigations and assessments


• Establish internal controls for tax compliance across all plants


• Drive automation and system improvements in ERP for enhanced GST compliance


• Monitor and minimize tax risks and exposures through proactive planning


• Build MIS dashboards and reports for management review of tax positions, risks, and exposures

What We're Looking For:

● 6-8 years in indirect taxation, with strong exposure to GST compliance and litigation in a manufacturing environment

●
A qualified CA with relevant experience in the Automobile industry.

● Strong technical knowledge of GST laws, rules, and case laws.

● Hands-on experience with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems.

● Good drafting and communication skills for handling notices and litigation.

● Problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
