Job Description – Brand Finance Controller
Key Responsibilities -
Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Develop and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets
  • Provide accurate financial forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance

Internal Controls

  • Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies
  • Oversee internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as needed

Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor and manage the brand's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations
  • Optimize working capital and develop strategies for cash flow improvement
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions

Financial Strategy

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals
  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing insights for decision-making

Qualification -

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-3 years in

a controllership role

  • Industry: Experience in e-commerce or retail business in a plus
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a finance team in a dynamic

environment
