  • Patrol and monitor:

Routinely patrol hospital buildings and grounds to detect and prevent security breaches, such as theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.

  • Access control:

Monitor and control who enters and exits the facility, checking identification and enforcing visitor policies.

  • Emergency response:

Respond to emergency codes, medical emergencies, fire alarms, and other critical incidents. This can include providing basic first aid or assisting medical staff.

  • Incident management:

Investigate security incidents like theft or assault, document findings through detailed reports, and cooperate with hospital staff and external law enforcement.

  • Conflict de-escalation:

Manage and de-escalate situations involving agitated or aggressive patients, visitors, or staff to prevent violence.

  • Safety and security:

Ensure the safety of high-risk patients, monitor for safety hazards, and help maintain order.

  • Surveillance:

Monitor video surveillance systems for suspicious activity throughout the hospital.
