Job Title : Associate Payroll Specialist

Experience: 0-2 years

Location: Hyderabad

Area Supported: North America

We have an excellent opening at Electronic Arts (India) in Payroll Accounting domain. The responsibility of General accounting function includes:

  1. Preparation of accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations and posting journal entries on timely basis.

  2. Preparation of reconciliations in Cadency tool.

  3. Payroll Accounting and Reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various audits against source documents for payroll uploads and manual entries and report findings to payroll manager
  • Upload payroll transactions to Oracle for each pay period to book expenses and accruals
  • Distribute various payroll reports such as PTO, Check Register, stock report and other ad-hoc reporting to GL team and other business partners
  • Audit and reconcile PTO, Stock rep
  • Post Journal entries for payroll invoices, tax adjustments, Refunds and miscellaneous JEs related to payroll transactions
  • Reconcile all payroll accounts for accrued wages, payroll taxes, garnishments etc., identify variances and work with business partners to clear it
  • Handle GL queries about payroll transactions and provide backup, if necessaryorts and report findings to payroll manager

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Must have B.Com/MBA with 0-2yrs of work experience.

  2. Advanced accounting and financial skills required.

  3. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  4. Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy a must.

  5. MS office and any ERP will be added advantage.

  6. Hands on experience on Oracle R12 and UKG Pro will be an added advantage.
