What will you Do?

To lead a team of 710 finance professionals and oversee core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and finance operations. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports and other reporting, transaction analysis, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and driving process improvements projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations (AP/AR/GL):

2. Lead and support the team in managing AP, AR, and GL processes.

3. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and collections.
4. Maintain compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
5. Oversee cash flow reporting and optimize investment of surplus funds.
6. Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures with accurate provisions and reconciliations.

7. Maintain banking documentation and mandates.

8. Process & Controls:

9. Document and refining accounting procedures and internal controls.

10. Drive implementation of accounting policies and ensure adherence across the organization.

11. Collaborate on finance-related IT projects, including ideation, testing (UAT), and rollout.

12. Statutory Compliance & Reporting:

13. Support/Handle statutory, Internal audits and preparation of financial statements, Audit related data.

14. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
15. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements including but not limited to payment returns filing of GST/TDS /Income Tax/ MSME.
16. Ensure timely and error free Monthly weekly MIS

17. Support in Audits initiated by GST and other statutory departments

18. Stakeholder Management:

19. Respond promptly to internal and external queries.

20. Liaise with auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and Audit closure.

What makes you a Great Fit?

• Graduate/Postgraduate with 10+ years of experience or Inter CA with 57 years.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (especially SUN Exfm).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks for both self and team members.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
