Key Responsibilities:

For Utility Maintenance:

  • Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance of utilities like compressors, chillers, DG sets, HVAC, water systems, and electrical panels.
  • Monitor and maintain uninterrupted utility supply for production lines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns of utility equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdown logs, and service reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and statutory regulations related to utility systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for AMC and spare parts management.

For CNC/VMC Maintenance:

  • Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, and SPM machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in machines and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Maintain backup and restore machine programs and parameters as needed.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for frequent breakdowns and suggest corrective measures.
  • Maintain proper documentation of breakdown history, spare consumption, and maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for critical maintenance support and spare management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine troubleshooting and utilities maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming (basic) will be an added advantage.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety and preventive maintenance practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fitter Engineering.

  • Experience:

  • 25 years for junior level.

  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or engineering industries preferred.

Reporting To:

  • Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Machine uptime percentage.
  • Reduction in breakdown frequency and downtime.
  • Timely execution of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Cost control in maintenance activities.
  • Compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
