Role & responsibilities

  • Own to manage Maintenance function for the entire site. Deliver proactive and reactive services for all equipment and facilities. This role requires strong leadership attributes to manage a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring optimal equipment performance, compliance and achievement of EHS goals.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment life.
  • Adopt modern manufacturing principles, address deficiencies and recommend changes in training, work practices and processes.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to address breakdowns. Focus on root cause analysis to implement preventive actions.
  • Identify and systematically solve chronic breakdown issues.
  • Direct and motivate maintenance staff to adhere to daily work management and ensure smooth operations at site.
  • Management of Spares to support with minimum lead time in resolving breakdown
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and other relevant regulations
  • Oversee installation, commissioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure Project(s) completion within schedule & budge.

Preferred candidate profile

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience on machines used in processes like Forging, Heat Treatment and Machining
  • Knowledge about PLC Programming, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Utilities and Power Transmission

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance for industry 4.0
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.

Qualifications: BE/ B Tech. in Mech/ Electrical or other relevant discipline
