About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced System Engineering Leader to act as the primary customer front office for all system engineering activities related to automotive instrument panels (IP). This role will serve as the main interface between OEM customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring that system-level requirements, architecture, and integration align with customer expectations, regulatory standards, and program milestones. The leader will drive technical discussions, manage requirement flows, and oversee end-to-end system delivery.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Act as the primary customer-facing representative for instrument panel system engineering.
• Lead requirement discussions, system design reviews, and technical workshops with OEM customers.
• Translate customer needs into system-level requirements, specifications, and architecture.
• Drive requirements decomposition and allocation across software, hardware, and mechanical domains.
• Ensure compliance with ISO Functional Safety), ISO/SAE Cybersecurity), and other automotive standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, HMI, mechanical, and validation) to ensure system coherence.
• Oversee system integration and validation activities to confirm performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Manage system change requests, feature prioritization, and traceability.
• Provide status reporting, risk management, and technical alignment to both customers and internal leadership.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs through proactive engagement and transparent communication.
• Mentor and guide system engineers, building customer-facing professionalism and system leadership skills.

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering discipline

Other skills that we would welcome:

• Experience managing global customer programs with Tier-1/OEM interactions.
• Exposure to Agile/Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies in automotive software development.
• Understanding of Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink) for system/software modeling.
• Experience in digital cockpit, virtual clusters, and infotainment integration.

Expectations from you in this position:

• Proven track record in customer-facing roles, handling technical discussions, requirement management, and delivery.
• Expertise in embedded software development (C/C++, AUTOSAR, RTOS, Embedded Linux).
• Strong knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, UDS).
• Hands-on experience with software lifecycle processes in compliance with ASPICE.
• Familiarity with HMI, graphics frameworks, and cluster display software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
