Job Purpose:

To provide the wider Managed Services department support in several activities.

Regulate S.L.A compliance to a standardized level for all agency types. Maintaining and update client data requirements, using the ISS application.

Co-ordinate the onboarding of existing processes into Global Support Services team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the accuracy of data entries into the ISS systems.
  • Obtain various shipping and costing documents within in the prescribed time frames Supporting the ISS operation to ensure selected SLA and KPIs are achieved Communicate with ISS operation on selected business processes to ensure smooth onboarding of new tasks avoiding any business disruptions
  • Raise queries in case of discrepancy and liaise with internal teams and Local Performing Office for resolving them.
  • Updating all operational files and database as necessary for required Process.
  • Assisting and supporting local agents with their concerns or system challenges.
  • Assisting the Hub on any urgent requests to engage with local agents.
  • Open to work on adhoc requests as per business requirements.
  • Bring innovative ideas in developing the processes.
  • Preparing MIS reports as required by the Management.

The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.

QHSSE – Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (mandatory requirements):

  • Accountable for ensuring that an appropriate assessment of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) risk is included as part of work planning.
  • Accountable for implementation and monitoring of actions to mitigate risk and enhance controls within area of responsibility to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder.
  • Ensure full compliance with and implementation of, the ISS HSSE Management System.
  • Ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to control HSSE risk.
  • Accountable for ensuring that clear, appropriate and timely communication channels are put in place to report and manage HSSE risk.

Knowledge

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of Shipping industry and shipping terms (would be added advantage)
