We are seeking a high-performing
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
with proven experience in
B2B direct sales
to drive new business for our CRM platform. The individual acts as a local sales manager and guides a team of sales representatives to drive sales for the company, restricted to a specific territory. With the agenda of building brand awareness, while increasing the profit margin, the role of an area sales manager involves being up-to-date with the latest sales trends.
Objectives of this role

Increase business opportunities by implementing the right sales strategies
●
Establish and cater to a customer base keeping in mind the basic area sales manager roles and responsibilities
●
Prepare sales plans as per the overall mission, vision and ethos of the company
●
Build brand awareness specifically for a geographical area as a sales field manager
●
Review, improvise and update sales policies and strategies as and when the situation arises, keeping in mind the scope of the company
●
Meet and exceed the ROIs and KPIs through effective sales performances
Key Responsibilities
●
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
●
Conduct product demos and client presentations to showcase CRM solutions.
●
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with SMEs, corporates, and startups.
●
Execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base in assigned territories.
●
Update all interactions, follow-ups, and deal stages in the CRM dashboard daily.
●
Coordinate with the pre-sales and marketing teams for lead nurturing and re-targeting.
●
Understand client business processes and customize the CRM pitch accordingly.
●
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms aligned with company policies.
●
Ensure timely proposal submission and deal closure.
●
Work closely with digital marketing and product teams for feedback and continuous improvement.
●
Attend weekly review meetings with the Sales Director for performance tracking.
Qualification:
●
Bachelor's degree in B.E./ B.TECH, Business Administration, Marketing, or Commerce
●
MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Operations preferred.
Preferred skills-
● 2 to 3 years of proven experience in B2B direct sales, CRM, SaaS, or IT product sales.
● Prior experience in selling software or automation tools to SMEs or corporate clients preferred.
●
Proven experience working as an area sales manager or in a field sales manager job
●
Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
●
Outstanding written, oral and interpersonal skills
●
Excellent leadership and motivational skills
●
Experience with common customer relation software tools is a big plus for a prospective area sales manager
●
Willingness to travel on the job when the situation demands it
