Organistion:
One of the most premium and giftable brands in Bengaluru, synonymous with premium quality Indian sweets. A leader in its category with over 3 decades, they have more than 16 outlets across Bangalore and have a significant online presence.
Role The outlet Manager will oversee the daily operations and management of a designated outlet within the retail chain specializing in Indian sweets. The role requires a deep understanding of customer service, food retail, inventory management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Manage day-to-day operations efficiently, ensuring smooth functioning of the outlet.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and maintaining freshness of products.
- Implement and maintain hygiene and quality standards in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Train and supervise staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Meet sales targets by strategizing and executing effective sales techniques.
- Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to optimize product offerings and promotions.
- Implement marketing initiatives to increase footfall and sales.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
- Schedule and manage employee shifts efficiently, considering peak hours and business needs.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Monitor and control expenses to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Prepare and manage budgets, including revenue forecasts and cost analysis.
- Generate regular reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve outlet performance.
Candidate
- 5+ yearss in a managerial role within the food retail industry, preferably in Indian sweets or related cuisine, or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and control.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in food handling.
- Proficiency in basic accounting and ability to interpret financial reports.
- Flexibility to work during peak business hours and weekends.
