Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Relationship Engagement & Vendor Manager to manage end-to-end consultant lifecycle operations while also acting as a key point of contact for client relationships in India and the UK.

This hybrid role combines:

Consultant lifecycle ownership

Vendor & client management

Contract extension & negotiation

Relationship engagement

Legal & contract coordination

Service delivery & account support

You will work closely with client stakeholders, consultants deployed at client sites, internal leadership, and the legal/commercial teams to ensure smooth operations, contract continuity, and a superior consultant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Consultant Lifecycle Management

  2. Manage the full consultant lifecycle: onboarding, deployment, confirmation, extension, and exit

  3. Coordinate offer letters, contracts, onboarding documents, and induction

  4. Ensure timely background verification and joining formalities

  5. Track consultant performance, attendance, timesheets, and project milestones

  6. Client & Vendor Relationship Management (India + UK)

  7. Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and vendor partners

  8. Build strong working relationships with project leads, hiring managers, procurement, and vendor teams

  9. Conduct regular cadence calls and feedback sessions with both clients and consultants

  10. Collaborate with clients to identify upcoming needs and opportunities

  11. Contract Extensions & Commercial Coordination

  12. Drive contract extensions by proactively engaging clients and consultants

  13. Manage contract negotiations and commercial terms with clients

  14. Coordinate with internal legal teams for contract reviews, renewals, and documentation

  15. Ensure adherence to compliance, legal, and contractual obligations

  16. Operations & Service Delivery

  17. Ensure seamless service delivery and consultant performance

  18. Work across procurement tools and vendor management platforms (Beeline, Fieldglass, PRO)

  19. Maintain accurate consultant records, trackers, and operational dashboards

  20. Support account teams in addressing operational issues, escalations, or delays

  21. Compliance & Documentation

  22. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.)

  23. Maintain audit-ready documentation and consultant records

  24. Coordinate with compliance, finance, and legal teams for updates and filings

  25. Payroll & Timesheet Coordination

  26. Liaise with payroll & finance teams to ensure timely salary disbursal

  27. Track timesheets, client approvals, and billing cycles

  28. Resolve discrepancies related to pay, attendance, invoicing, or client approvals

  29. Consultant Engagement & HR Support

  30. Conduct regular engagement check-ins and welfare calls

  31. Address consultant grievances, concerns, and escalations promptly

  32. Drive retention, motivation, and long-term consultant success

  33. Run engagement initiatives and communication programs

  34. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  35. Prepare MIS reports, consultant dashboards, extension trackers, and status reports

  36. Provide timely updates to internal leadership and account managers

  37. Support client audits and business reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA/PGDM in HR or related field preferred

  • 7–12 years of experience in consulting, staffing, HR operations, account management, or vendor management

  • Experience supporting UK or Europe-based clients (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of consultant lifecycle, contracts, and compliance

  • Familiarity with vendor management platforms (Beeline, Fieldglass, PRO, etc.)

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
