Job Summary:

The Packaging Executive will be responsible for overseeing all packaging activities to ensure that finished products are packed accurately, hygienically, and in line with company standards, export requirements, and client specifications. The role involves coordinating manpower, maintaining packaging material stock, and ensuring quality and timely dispatch of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily packaging operations to ensure adherence to defined standards and timelines.
  • Check product labeling, batch coding, and packaging material quality before and during operations.
  • Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time order completion.
  • Maintain records of packaging materials used and finished goods packed.
  • Ensure proper hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the packaging area.
  • Track packaging stock (pouches, boxes, labels, etc.) and raise material requests when required.
  • Train and guide packaging staff on correct procedures and handling methods.
  • Ensure compliance with export packaging requirements and client-specific instructions.
  • Monitor wastage, identify areas for improvement, and suggest process optimization.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate data and records.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of packaging processes and materials (preferably in food/FMCG sector).
  • Knowledge of labeling, batch coding, and quality parameters.
  • Attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Good coordination and team management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for record maintenance.
  • Awareness of food safety, hygiene, and export standards (HACCP, FSSAI, ISO preferred).

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Food Technology, Packaging Technology, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in packaging operations in a food manufacturing or FMCG company.
