We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as AVP - Business Development - Private Equity. Reporting to the Managing Director– India and Mauritius, this full-time and permanent position is based in Vistra, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Commercial and its' growth.
Key responsibilities:
- This role has overall responsibility of revenue targets and business development for Capital Market. To ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales across all product line.
- Implementing sales strategies across the organisation and monitoring effectiveness.
- Direct sales responsibility will be given to accomplish the target.
- Extensive networking, exploring in the areas of all industries/ sectors for new client generation for Vistra ITCL for corporate trusteeship products in respective region.
- Arranging, conducting meetings with the relevant persons in the finance department, providing offer & close the commercials.
- Attending meeting with respective clients individually & in matured stage with senior group members (initially for a year) or independently (once trained) and keeping them posted on the development thereafter while ensuring continuous follow up & closure.
- Networking, Deal sourcing, Initiating Negotiation & closing a deal in coordination with the supervisor or independently once trained.
- Attending meeting, completion of doc vetting with legal team, ensuring all compliances before execution, arranging/ attending execution - Client – legal & operation team coordination for ensuring deliverables.
- Raising Invoices, Payment tracking & ensuring Payment received in constant coordination with accounts.
- The person will be responsible for creating a regional market for Vistra ITCL in corporate trusteeship product. The respective person needs to go out in a complete marketing & sales drive to complete given target figure for the year from the respective regional market.
- Carrying out execution of the transaction and ensure end to end coordination is done with the client for the smooth closure of the transaction.
Key requirements:
- 10-15 years working experience in relevant field
- Responsible for income generation directly for at least past 5 years.
- Proven track record in driving organic growth through increasing revenue existing client bases while expanding portfolio through new additions and new products
- Extensive contacts with across all industry sector in corporate finance , Banks & financial Institutions Corporate finance division in each region.
- Strong track record in acting as a partner to senior management
- Experience in change management; from idea inception to fully implementing changes proposed would be a distinct advantage
- MBA marketing /Finance (along with LLB/CS will be preferred)
- Hard-core sales, marketing and customer service orientation. Has worked with local regulator and has extensive exposure in India
- Has the focus, planning ability to create market for a given region
- Very good communication skills – speaking, reading, writing
- Multitasking capability
- Adaptable to people and culture in multiple jurisdictions
- Long- term approach towards relationships & ideas
