Designation: Sr. BDM - Corporate Brokers

Attractive Package: CTC upto 12 Lakhs per annum, and incentives and allowance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience : 2+ years to manage and grow the Non-Motor portfolio through corporate brokers by developing strong relationships, driving new business, ensuring renewals, and maintaining profitability across products like Fire, Marine, Workmen Compensation, GPA, Engineering, Liability, and Package policies.

Qualification : Postgraduate / MBA

Age : Upto 35 years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

1) Achieve business targets through assigned brokers in the Non-Motor vertical.

2) Support brokers in acquiring and retaining corporate clients for Non-Motor lines of business.

3) Maintain a healthy product mix and ensure profitable underwriting.

2. Broker Relationship Management

1) Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key brokers and intermediaries.

2) Conduct regular meetings, reviews, and joint client visits with broker partners.

3. Technical Support & Risk Assessment

1) Coordinate with underwriting teams to structure suitable products and premium rates.

2) Understand client risk exposures and assist brokers in preparing detailed risk notes.

3) Handle renewals with proactive engagement and pricing support.

4. Coordination & Servicing

1) Liaise with internal departments (Underwriting, Operations, and Claims) for seamless policy issuance and service delivery.

2) Ensure prompt resolution of broker and client queries.

3) Monitor claim settlements and provide regular updates to brokers.

5. Compliance & Reporting

1) Ensure adherence to company guidelines and IRDAI regulations.

2) Maintain updated MIS on broker performance, business pipeline, and renewals.

3) Review broker portfolio performance periodically to monitor profitability and growth trends.

Skills & Competencies:

1) Strong knowledge of Non-Motor insurance products and underwriting principles.

2) Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.

3) Ability to analyze risk and structure insurance solutions.

4) Good communication and presentation abilities.

5) Target-driven, self-motivated, and customer-oriented approach.
