Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior-level Lead in Crucible Operations to join our team at Jamnagar on a full-time basis. This role demands a seasoned professional adept in overseeing operations related to crucible management and the application of advanced materials. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in manufacturing processes and operations refinement to contribute towards our new energy goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in operations with a solid background in managing complex processes within manufacturing industries.
  • Expertise in the use and handling of crucibles in a professional setting, ensuring optimal performance in all related tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge of ceramics, particularly in its application in advanced materials and high-tech industries.
  • Strong familiarity with advanced material handling, ensuring all processes are efficient and effective.
  • Manufacturing prowess with a passion for continuous improvement in production processes and output quality.
  • Mandatory skill: Operations with an acute understanding of logistics and workflow optimization.
  • Proficient in Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies for process optimization and quality assurance improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with an ability to inspire and manage a team effectively in a high-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee crucible operations ensuring efficiency and adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage the application of ceramics and advanced materials in operational processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing environment, in line with Six Sigma and Kaizen practices.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operations with broader company objectives.
  • Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring all operational activities comply with safety regulations.
  • Ensure the availability and functionality of all necessary equipment for crucible operations, coordinating maintenance as necessary.
  • Mentor and train team members, building capacity to meet current and anticipated demands of operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics, ensuring that the operations meet productivity and quality targets consistently.

Educational Background: B.E/ B.Tech in Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Material Science
