Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Lead for Crucible Maintenance based in Jamnagar. This full-time position requires expertise in ceramics and crucible processes, with a strong emphasis on Total Quality Management. Join us in our mission to innovate and sustain in the New Energy sector.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in ceramics and crucible handling, establishing best practices within an industrial setting (Mandatory skill).
  • Familiarity with Total Quality Management (TQM) methods and their implementation in maintenance operations (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Competency in Six Sigma methodologies for continuous process improvement and quality assurance in operational settings.
  • Hands-on experience in industry-standard safety protocols to ensure the well-being of team members and operational integrity.
  • Proficiency in identifying and troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing solutions to streamline maintenance processes.
  • Capacity for strategic planning and resource management to optimize maintenance schedules and achieve operational objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance team in the installation, repair, and upkeep of crucibles, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee Total Quality Management processes to enhance maintenance operations and product standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and ensure continuous operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine maintenance processes and protocols.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements, integrating innovative practices and technologies into maintenance operations where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and productive work environment at all times.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, optimizing cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of operational effectiveness.

Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical
