Job Summary

We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Import and Export Executive to manage international shipments, handle trade documentation, and coordinate with global vendors, logistics providers, and internal departments. Strong communication skills and knowledge of finance-related documentation are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage import/export documentation (Invoices, BL, COO, Packing List, etc.)
  • Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
  • Track international shipments and provide timely updates
  • Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, and international trade regulations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with overseas vendors and internal teams
  • Negotiate freight rates and handle logistics-related queries
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or related field
  • MBA or PGDM in Finance or International Business preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in import/export operations
  • Excellent understanding of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and INCOTERMS
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems like SAP or Tally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Export-Import Management / Foreign Trade
  • Experience dealing with international vendors, CHAs, and freight forwarders
  • Knowledge of HS codes, DGFT procedures, and international payment terms (LCs, TT)
