Procurement Executive

Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Salary: 20,000 25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in procurement of mechanical materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Compare quotations and support cost negotiation under guidance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedules.
  • Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and inventory data.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and stores for material requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical materials and construction-related items.
  • Understanding of procurement and vendor coordination processes.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic documentation.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Mechanical Engineering graduate/diploma holder.
  • Freshers eager to build a career in procurement are welcome.
  • Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in procurement or site coordination will have an added advantage.

Local candidates from Mumbai preferred.
