We are a building construction company with 25+ projects completed till date. We are actively working in Bihar since 2001, Astara Projects Private Limited is a leading building construction firm based in Patna, specializing in residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We are committed to delivering quality infrastructure with innovation, safety, and sustainability at the core of our operations.

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and supervise the execution of building projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in civil works, structural engineering, and project management, with hands-on experience in managing site operations and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure design compliance.
  • Supervise and guide site engineers, contractors, and labor teams for effective project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to schedules, and implement corrective measures when required.
  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are maintained throughout all stages of construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for technical clarifications and approvals.
  • Prepare and verify measurements, bills, and project reports for submission to management and clients.
  • Manage material procurement planning and inventory control.
  • Handle site inspections and liaise with local authorities for necessary approvals and compliances.
  • Provide technical input for tender preparation, cost estimation, and resource planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in building construction projects (residential, commercial, or institutional).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, estimation, and quantity surveying.
  • Familiarity with IS codes and local building regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
