Job Summary

Far Horizon Tours, a pioneer in experiential river cruising on Indian rivers, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager – Sales to drive high-end cruise bookings. The role demands strong business development capabilities, particularly in tourism and hospitality products, and deep engagement with premium clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and manage relationships with tour operators, travel agents, MNC travel desks, expat communities, and embassies.

  • Drive sales of river cruise products by presenting unique experiential offerings.

  • Represent the company at travel events, exhibitions, and trade fairs.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and lead generation efforts.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and ensure high conversion rates.

  • Provide regular market feedback and insights to leadership.

Requirements
Requirements

  • 5 years of proven sales experience in the tourism and/or hospitality industry.

  • Exposure to experiential tourism, luxury travel, adventure, or wildlife sectors is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent networking with corporate travel desks, foreign missions, and international clientele.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel domestically for business development activities.

Preferred Background

  • Candidates with a passion for outdoor, river, or wildlife tourism.

  • Prior experience in promoting high-end or niche travel experiences.
