End Point Security Engineer

Must Have Skills :

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Defender suite (Defender for Endpoint, Defender Antivirus, Microsoft 365 Defender) and Microsoft Intune platform.c

Good to Have Skills :

  • Expertise in CrowdStrike Falcon modules (Prevent, Insight, OverWatch, Discover).

  • Strong knowledge of Intune MDM, EntraID, and IBM QRadar for integration purposes.

  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and familiarity with APIs for automation.

  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, AD management hands-on experience preferred.

  • Understanding of network security, firewalls, NPS and SIEM/SOAR platforms.

  • Proven track record in threat detection, incident response, and policy

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Platform Management & Configuration:

    • Administer and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including Defender Antivirus, Attack Surface Reduction, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities.

    • Manage CrowdStrike Falcon platform, including Falcon Prevent, Falcon Insight EDR, and Falcon OverWatch for advanced threat hunting and response.

    • Configure and deploy security policies, baselines, and integrations to protect Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux endpoints.

    • Ensure 100% coverage of endpoint security solutions on all endpoints in scope, gap analysis and remediation to maintain compliance.

    • Threat Detection & Incident Response:

      • Monitor and analyze alerts from Defender and CrowdStrike to identify, investigate, and remediate security incidents.

      • Leverage advanced threat hunting techniques to proactively detect sophisticated threats using both platforms' analytics and intelligence.

      • Coordinate with SOC teams to execute incident response playbooks and mitigate zero-day vulnerabilities or ransomware attacks.

      • Integration & Automation:

        • Integrate Defender with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., Intune, O365, EntraID, Purview) and CrowdStrike with SIEM/SOAR platforms for centralized security operations.

        • Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline policy enforcement, reporting, and remediation workflows.
