Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Permit Designer, located in Ghaziabad. The Permit Designer will be responsible for creating detailed solar permit plans, ensuring compliance with AHJ, NEC, Fire Codes, and Utility Regulations. Additional tasks include developing comprehensive as-built drawings, preparing interconnection documents, and liaising with engineering teams to obtain necessary stamps. The role demands quick turnaround times for permit plans and engineering approvals, making timely and accurate submissions a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience with Solar PV design, including Residential and Commercial designs
• Proficiency in creating permit plan sets and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Skill in preparing sales proposals and as-built drawings
• Knowledge of AHJ, NEC, Fire Codes, and Utility Regulations, as well as interconnection documents
• Strong project management skills with an emphasis on quick turnaround times
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Experience in the solar industry is a plus
