Chief Engineer Mobile Technical Services What this job involves: Executing flawless technical activitiesAs the go-to person in all things technical, you'll keep the Company up to speed on operating and utilities costs. Together with the building manager, you will monitor the invoices for technical services rendered. Aside from these, you'll keep an eye out on the maintenance practices of our contractors to ensure that their scope of work is aligned with manufacturer recommendations and our own preventive maintenance standards.Job Title: Chief Engineer - MTSJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain critical environments and systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Ensure for monitoring of Technical activities and maintain system integrityMonitor the inhouse technician activity, with Quality of PPM at client site.Preparation of BOQ through teamAssist in the setup and maintenance of M&E systemsEnsure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance as per the 52-week calendar/ CorrigoPrepare and manage maintenance schedules for electrical systemsMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionalityInspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when neededPerform manual repairs through team, as necessaryCoordinate with vendors for R&M activitiesEnsure quality work delivery from external contractorsUpdate and share daily reports with managementPrepare and submit SLAs and Monthly Management Reports (MMR) on timePrepare work progress and incident reports for the ClientSupport continuous development to maintain smooth operationsImplement improvement plans based on daily operationsShare initiatives to reduce energy consumptionConduct training sessions for teamAssist in audit preparationEnsure proper incident reporting and CAPA implementationPrepare quotations and proposals as neededEnsure for all technical inputs to JLL & Client leadershipRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)No bars on travelling to other city.10+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in critical environments, with multiple client handling abilityStrong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, FAPA and plumbingFamiliarity with building management systems and energy conservation techniquesExcellent problem-solving and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to handle ad-hoc duties as assignedYou'll also oversee the repair and maintenance of cooling and heating systems, plumbing and water supply, electricity and lighting fixtures, and other equipment and supplies. Moreover, you'll be in charge of performing routine inspection, inventory and documentation of these systems.Providing sound leadership to boost resultsEnsuring smooth day-to-day operation is a responsibility that requires impeccable leadership skills. You'll demonstrate this by overseeing our electricians and their scope of work. You'll also work closely with pretty much everyone across the board--from superiors to peers and subordinates.Aside from our internal teams, you'll also be the main point of contact for our vendors for all maintenance services. Churning out reports will also be part of your mandate. In this role, you'll monitor our maintenance activities, and produce daily and weekly summary reports on these activities. Prioritizing the facilities' needs—alwaysA seasoned expert in the field, the Chief Engineer is on top of all the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil works needed in a facility. Likewise, you'll play an essential function in reducing workplace-related risks by working on maintenance contracts, routine inspections and scheduled down times.You will be in close contact with local authorities for all facility-related issues. Also part of your scope is to ensure that the facility is in total compliance with all legal and engineering standards. Likewise, you'll spearhead the implementation of energy programs to cut utility cost.You'll assume the role of a senior facilities manager when needed—overseeing small renovation projects from initial phases to completion. You'll also keep an eye out on the facilities' engineering systems by periodically inspecting logbooks, checklists and maintenance schedules.Putting critical plans and reports in placePlanning is a big part of your mandate. In this role, you'll take charge of planning and managing both engineering and operational budgets and contracts. Your expertise will also be essential in planning and developing a list of spare materials for all installations based on recommendations and inventories.Performing various audits—including technical, cost savings, risk management and energy management--is part of your job as well. In addition, you'll strive to keep down time at bay by setting up best practices that promote seamless service delivery to our clients.Your analytical skills will also come in handy, as the role requires you to file both weekly and monthly reports on maintenance contracts, incident reports and improvement projects. Technical competence like no otherWorking for a global real estate leader like JLL, you must demonstrate technical expertise that will help you go head-to-head with some of the industry's most brilliant minds. Having said so, the ideal candidate must be a degree holder with at least three years' experience in the field. Likewise, you must possess a strong working knowledge of policies, building maintenance and people management. Proven expertise in the principles and techniques of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general property management may also give you an edge in getting the job.
