Job Summary:

The Assistant HR Manager will oversee HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The role requires a deep understanding of HR practices within a political consulting firm, ensuring smooth workforce management and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition


• Source, screen, and recruit candidates for political consulting and campaign roles.


• Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs.


• Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and offer rollouts.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement


• Address employee concerns and maintain a positive work environment.


• Organize engagement activities to boost morale and productivity.


• Support conflict resolution and grievance handling. 3. Compliance & HR Policies


• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.


• Maintain employee records and handle legal documentation.


• Implement HR policies aligned with the unique needs of a political consulting environment.

4. Performance Management & Training


• Assist in performance appraisals and feedback sessions.


• Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs.


• Support leadership in succession planning. 5. Payroll & Administration


• Oversee payroll coordination and leave management.


• Manage HR documentation, contracts, and exit formalities.


• Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.

Ad-hoc & Strategic Responsibilities


• Handle ad-hoc HR projects and operational tasks assigned by management.


• Assist senior leadership in strategic planning, organizational structuring, and team development.


• Support cross-functional coordination to ensure operational efficiency within the HR department.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Master's degree in HR, Business Administration.


• 1 – 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in political consulting, media, or a related industry.


• Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance, and employee relations.


• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic political environment.


• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office tools.


• Marathi language is a must.
