Role Overview

We are seeking a smart, dependable, and detail-oriented 
Inventory Assistant
 to support our

daily inventory operations. This role involves maintaining accurate product data, managing

jewellery tags, assisting with packaging and storage, and contributing to creative content

generation using AI tools. The ideal candidate is tech-friendly, organized, and eager to learn.

Accuracy, discipline, and adaptability are crucial in this high-value industry.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data & Inventory Management:

1. Enter product details (weight, karat, type) into IMS (Inventory Management System)
2. Generate barcode tags and attach them accurately to products
3. Upload and manage product images and preview links
4. Support stock audits and physical verification
5. Ensure proper bin placement and systematic storage of jewellery
6. Track product movement between departments with proper logging

Packaging & Dispatch Support:

1. Assist in safe, clean, and organized packaging for clients or exhibitions
2. Cross-check tagging and quantity before sealing parcels
3. Maintain accurate records of packed and dispatched items

Workflow & Communication:

1. Update Trello or internal dashboards with inventory status
2. Immediately flag discrepancies to QC or Production Coordinator
3. Organize jewellery trays and maintain a neat, disciplined stockroom layout
4. Coordinate with team via Slack, WhatsApp, or Email as per task requirement

AI-Powered Creative Support:

1. During non-peak hours, use AI tools such as 
   Gemini, ChatGPT, Midjourney
   , or similar
2. platforms to generate product creatives, visual mockups, and written content
3. Experiment with tools like 
   Sora
    or 
   Veo 3
    to help create product videos, short reels, or
4. jewellery showcase clips
5. Assist in organizing product imagery into moodboards or promotional assets for internal
6. and marketing use
7. Maintain a clean archive of all AI-generated outputs for team reference and feedback

First 3 Months Expectations

1. Learn internal IMS and tagging system thoroughly
2. Issue 100% error-free tags and entries
3. Keep trays and bins organized with up-to-date labels
4. Demonstrate punctuality and careful handling of all jewellery items
5. Begin contributing to basic creative tasks using AI tools under guidance
6. Assist seamlessly in daily stockroom and dispatch operations

Tools You'll Use

1. IMS (Internal Inventory Software) — training provided
2. Excel / Google Sheets
3. Barcode printer and tag machine
4. Slack / WhatsApp / Email for internal coordination

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Minimum 12th pass or graduate in any stream
2. Fresher to 1 year of work experience (jewellery or warehouse experience is a bonus)
3. Basic computer literacy — typing, Excel, printing, internet usage
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
5. Ability to handle physical inventory with care and discipline
6. Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools and technologies

Work Environment & Expectations

1. Formal dress code — you'll work around high-value products
2. Personal phones not allowed during work hours
3. Daily update of stock movement logs required
4. Expected to assist other departments (Dispatch/QC) when needed
5. Cleanliness, organization, and discipline are strictly maintained
6. Creative tasks using AI are expected during downtime
