As Finance Manager, you will lead day-to-day financial operations with a focus on GL & AP You will also

support monthly closing, vendor management, taxation, audit, compliance, employee claim processing,

and internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities -

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Own end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and

reconciliations on regular basis.

  • Assist in monthly/yearly books closing & reporting.
  • Maintain accurate books in accordance with Indian GAAP.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Register (FAR).

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Review vendor bills, ensure proper approval workflows, and process payments on time.
  • Manage vendor payments process including collecting suppliers invoices, checking accuracy,

recording them in the accounting system, and preparing the payment list for review.

  • Maintain vendor ledger and ageing schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support vendor onboarding including KYC, GST, and bank details verification.
  • Regular vendor accounts reconciliation considering TDS deduction, tax invoices, and payments.
  • Support in monthly staff claim verification (travel, reimbursements, and other employee expense

claims) in line with company policy.

  • Ensure vendor-related processes are followed as per approved SOPs, and periodically review

adherence to these SOPs.

Audit & Compliance

  • Manage statutory audit processes and liaise with auditors and external consultants.
  • Provide assistance in statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing required schedules,

reconciliations, and documentation in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.

Taxation

  • Provide inputs to file monthly GST payments and return filing.
  • Provide inputs to file monthly TDS payments and quarterly return filing.
  • Support reconciliation of Form 26AS and GST input tax credits with the tax team.
  • Distribute Form 16A in due course.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Assist in implementing SOPs for accounting, AP cycles, vendor payments, and documentation,

ensuring their effectiveness through regular monitoring and review.

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite,

Tally ERP) to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by GM – Finance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • CA / Inter CA / MBA Finance / M.Com with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of core accounting principles and tax laws applicable to Service Industry.
  • Hands-on experience in managing AP processes, reconciliations, and monthly closing.
  • Proficiency in accounting tools such as Tally & NetSuite.
  • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of MIS reporting.
  • Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
