Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, or regional specialties as per menu).
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared on time, maintaining quality, portion size, and presentation standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision, hygiene, and food safety compliance.
  • Develop and innovate new dishes or recipes to enhance the menu.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage and labelling of ingredients to prevent spoilage and waste.
  • Coordinate with restaurant management on daily specials, catering orders, or events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff and commis in cooking techniques and safety protocols.
