JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Financial Modeller / Assistant Manager

About Us FAB Analytics is a specialist financial modelling firm with clients across the globe, including private equity funds, corporates, real estate developers, and renewable energy investors. Our team applies FAST standards and best-practice modelling to deliver FAB (Forecast, Actual, and Budget) models that drive high-stakes decisions across project finance, corporate finance, and portfolio performance tracking. The Role We are looking for a Senior Financial Modeller or Assistant Manager who will play a leading role in building, maintaining, and reviewing financial models across project finance, corporate finance, and financial reporting assignments. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with international clients, mentor junior modellers, and contribute to the firms reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Model development:

Build tailormade robust, best-practice Excel models from scratch for project finance, investment appraisal, M&A, debt structuring, and corporate forecasting and reporting assignments.


• Model review, maintenance, & Quality checks: Perform model review, stress-testing, and maintain existing financial models to ensure accuracy and reliability.


• Client engagement: Work closely with CFOs, investment teams, and corporate finance advisors to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.


• Mentoring: Guide junior team members, provide feedback, and help build modelling skills across the team.


• Internal activities: Contribute and participate in companys internal tasks such as modelling content writing, taking training sessions, research and development to improve the quality of our services.

Desired Skills & Experience


• 3-4 years of hands-on financial modelling experience in developing detailed and complex project finance and corporate finance (infrastructure, energy, real estate, M&A, or similar).


• Strong command of Excel-based modelling (FAST or similar best-practice standards preferred).


• Practical exposure to building monthly / quarterly timeline models with complex funding structures, circular references, and scenarios analysis.


• Solid knowledge in accounting, corporate finance, and valuation concepts.


• Very strong communication skills to work directly with international clients.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Eligibility Criteria


• Work experience: 3-4 years of financial model build experience (on project finance & corporate finance assignments)


• Educational qualification: MBA / PGDM, MCom


• Academic scores: 10th and 12th score 75+%, Graduation and Post-grad 60+%
